After living away and the house tenanted for 10 years, my house was in need of a major overhaul inside and out. I had no idea where to start but had some ideas of what I wanted. After sharing my woes, I was referred by a friend. Jim and Sharen have transformed my house and garden. Every time I come home its like walking into a retreat. Whilst I thought I knew what I wanted - Sharen and Jim shared their thoughts and ideas together, I have a home I absolutely love. Jim and his Crew did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. He secured the timber frame of our veranda, replaced the footings, erected a new retaining wall and finished off the job in a very clean and neat manner.. Throughout the job they were very concious of having a clean worksite and not damaging any of our garden. We will definately be hiring Jim and his crew at Spruce it SA for our next job.

What a delight it was to deal with such a friendly professional team. From initial contact with Sharen through to on site dealings with Jim and his team everything ran smoothly and the results show a high attention to detail and pride in their workmanship. Everyone, from Sharen in the office to Jim and his team on-site, were excellent to deal with. The Quality of the preparatory work to get the house interior ready to paint, and the end result, was first class. The work was done very promptly. What I appreciated the most was the excellent support in guiding our decisions about what could be done to improve the look of the house interior, and then undertaking the work within the scheduled time. I am planning to engage this Company again for my landscaping due to how impressed I am with their work.

Spruce it SA were brilliant. We have quite a large old house, which had not been painted or 'spruced' in a long time. Jim and Sharen have made it look incredible. On budget, and on time. They were happy to help when we kept throwing more tasks at them. Could not recommend highly enough.

After much disappointment with a few other painting business's not replying after giving us a quote I stumbled across Spruce it SA. Jim happily came out to check out the job and give us a quote which we had within 24 hours. We booked the job in, t was completed and we are looking at getting them back for some more work.

Jim was professional in the earthmoving work that he did. He had great ideas that helped me along. Where other services were also required to complete some of the works, he was able to get them in as he needed to ensure that the whole job was completed the best that it could be.

Received great service from Jim and Sharen when it came to site preparation for a new lawn area. Finished up buying all our Sir Walter Buffalo lawn from them as well. The whole project came in well under budget, a bonus in this current climate.

Highly recommend. We decided that Covid was the perfect time to do something prositive and et a new kitchen for our house. That was the easy part and we didnt realise how many other "little things" needed doing. Jim from Spruce it SA was more than accomodating, professional and got the job done with excellent finishes, He made internal modifications such as remove walls, reconfigure rooms with new walls, removed old kitchen so the new one could be installed and co-ordinate the other trades such as plumbers, tilers, painters, gyprock and electricians. Nothing was too much trouble and communicated what was going on. Most importantly he turned up at the time he said he would if not before and left our house clean and tidy at the end of the day which was important as we lived through it all.....with 5 Children!
